Create a WBLOCK in Microstation

Here is a great tip that will benefit the Autocad and Microstation user!
If you have Microstation elements that you would like to insert into a DWG file or turn them into a block for Autocad. Just use a selection set or fence to select your desired elements and then use the key-in DWG WBLOCK!

Then adjust the settings in the DWG WBLOCK dialog as neccessary.

  1. Christopher: This is an old post from 2010, but I am a new user to MicroStation, so I am googling lots of tips. I'm using MicroStation v8i series 4, and when I type DWG WBLOCK in the KEY IN window of MicroStation, I get "no known command" and I don't see the option to choose a Selection Set. Has this changed in 8 years? Hopefully you are still here and can answer as quickly as possible. thank you
